Hi Guenter,

It is very simple the developer support group has been terminated.

Hi,
when I look through our forums I see that the last posts from Susan are from
10-Oct - and I really doubt that Susan makes more than a month holidays....
so it seems to me that she had to leave Novell too.... --- but I still hope
that this is not the case.....
But if it is then its a shame! She was the only one from developer support
who always took our needs seriously, and always helped us all with her very
good NDS and LDAP knowledge.
Susan, hope you're still there!!
Guen.

Hi

I have been moved to another group within Novell so responding to the devsup
newsgroups is no longer on my official work responsibilities. I've been
pretty busy with training and not responsive here I know.

The sysops are still active, and will have backline help as needed from
within Novell. I don't believe that any of the news groups has been
terminated. I've asked engineering team for these sdks to make bug reporting
more accessable to public (like how the csharpldap sdk bugzilla works)
since, in my experience, these forums are a very good source of bug reports.
For the most part the doc and samples cover most useage issues.

Thank you
Susan

good to hear that you're still there -- bad though for us all that you are no
longer available for the NDS, LDAP and ActiveX forums.
No sysop has the skill that you brought in.
Also for me its _now_ senseless to make changes to the bug system when nobody
is behind anymore to fix the bugs.
Ok, got it finally: NetWare is DEAD!
And honestly spoken it was already dead for me last year when Russ and all
the other had to leave - I was just hoping I could move some smoother towards
Linux, but seems not so.

Wish you best with your new job!

greets, Guen.

Actually for the ldap sdk bugs, there is a very responsive engineering team
that is still there. In fact, it may be that I got in the way as a middle
man. A lot of posts here on the ldap forum are bug reports. And I know
that on the libc forum, Jeff is doing a heroic job of responding. But I
understand your concern. And I thank you for your kind words.

Thank you
Susan

Hmm... that wasn't what I heard. If you want me to dig into that please
email me at sperrin at novell dot com.

Thank you
